SWEAC Sustainability Forum 1/28/12 Sarah Lawrence College
On Saturday, January 28th, over 120 elected officials, municipal staff, sustainability committee members and outside experts joined us for the first SWEAC Sustainability Forum. The plenary included a welcome from Chuck Lesnick, Yonkers City Council President and comments from Leo Wiegman, a sustainability expert, Chair of the Westchester Municipal Officials Association Green Committee and Mayor of Croton-on-Hudson, as well as comments from Peter McCartt, SWEAC Advisory Board Chairman and Nina Orville, SWEAC Executive Director. The group then split into 6 break-out sessions to delve into specific topics before coming back to share break-out session reports with the full group.
